WORK STUDY PROGRAM...
Feel invited to correspond with us at info@lindenretreat.com to inquire about internships and job openings. March through October are generally the most eventful, with longer days. If you enjoy cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and winter hikes, then the winter months would interest you, as we have a couple feet of snow on the mountain each winter.
As we have limited space we can offer to volunteers coupled with high demand from volunteer community to visit and learn from us, we have created the following system:
1. Volunteers staying over 6 weeks receive room and board and stipend.
2. For volunteers who can stay 6 weeks, we provide room and board.
3. Those staying from 2 to 6 weeks have to bring their own tent (June-August). We provide everything else. During off-peak months there is generally room available in our tipis or camper.
3. Volunteers who can stay 2 weeks are provided room and board. In return they pay 13 euros per day.
4. Everyone wishing to stay 14 days or less is considered a guest.
If you are traveling and do not know your exact arrival and departure dates (within a day or two), please bring your own tent as we can not hold open spots in those cases.
We are the part of World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms organization (WWOOF), WorkAway and HelpeXchange and welcome all members to correspond with us.
We suggest to bring the following items with you: boots (rubber boots or some other kind of boots without laces work best), rain coat, pocket knife, hat (sun is strong up here on the mountain), gloves (deerskin or elk leather gloves are the best), flash light (small one so it fits in your pocket), sleeping bag and sleeping pad, sun lotion, swim suit (we have lake nearby) and towel (beach towel for the lake trips).
